Yunchan Lim Plays Chopin, at Lincoln Center (Site)

Pianist Yunchan Lim, the youngest-ever winner of the Van Cliburn Competition, plays Chopin’s Second Concerto. Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 2 shows the composer’s gift for melody, from its brooding introduction to impassioned heights. In his NY Phil debut, Kazuki Yamada also conducts the US Premiere of Dai Fujikura’s Entwine, a musical metaphor for vital human connection.
