Rush Hour Performance | Pursuits of Happiness: For Anna Magdalena Bach
Part of the Juilliard Fall Festival
Program
Selections from the 1725 Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach
Works by J.S. BACH, C.P.E. BACH, F. COUPERIN, PETZOLD, and STÖLZEL
Anna Magdalena’s famous notebook comes to life, giving us a glimpse into the house of Bach and an enduring practice of music-making for every occasion. Featuring performers from Juilliard’s Historical Performance program and Marcus Institute for Vocal Arts.
A new season of free Rush Hour Performances at Juilliard Station launches with a week entitled Pursuits of Happiness, celebrating the utopian imagination across centuries of artistic expression. Stop by during evening rush hours all week and encounter Juilliard performers working where bold ideas are put into practice.
Please note: Juilliard Station events are first come, first served and tend to reach capacity quickly. We recommend arriving early to secure your spot.
This performance is part of the Juilliard Fall Festival.
Juilliard’s Creative Enterprise programming, including the Creative Associates program, is generously supported by Jody and John Arnhold and the Arnhold Foundation.
