Join at Bethany Baptist for this free concert combining jazz music and worship.

Music is the medium in this special tribute to Newark jazz legend James Moody. Swing back to a time when bebop was king and “Moody’s Mood for Love” reigned. The Dizzy Gillespie All-Stars is fronted by Dizzy’s longtime bassist John Lee and features trumpet master Diego Urcola, saxophonist Don Braden, pianist Alex Collins and drummer Karl Latham.

Bethany Baptist Church is located at 275 W. Market Street, Newark, New Jersey.
