A Romantic from Kharkiv

Dear friends, I am thrilled to share that my new album, A Romantic from Kharkiv, featuring the music of Sergei Bortkiewicz, will be released this October.

As part of the Ukrainian Cultural Festival, we will be celebrating with two CD release recitals on October 17 and 18 at 7:30 PM at Faust Harrison Pianos. These concerts will feature selections from the album, including the evocative suite Thousand and One Nights and Lamentation for solo piano. I am also delighted to be joined by Dmitri on a second piano for the Allegro movement from Bortkiewicz’s Piano Concerto No. 1.
