Mexican pianist and Steinway Artist Abdiel Vázquez makes his Weill Recital Hall debut with a program that includes the world premiere of his arrangement of Bernstein’s West Side Story Suite, his transcription of Moncayo’s Huapango, and other works. A conductor and educator, Vázquez is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra La Súper in Monterrey, Mexico, and Vincerò Academy, an online platform mentoring young opera singers worldwide.
