The season leaps into focus with a dynamic program featuring all of the festival’s themes: A Mozart focus highlighted by the outstanding duo that opens the program; Transformations – Zhao Tian’s dynamic Viaje (Journey) was originally for flute and string quartet; and Love – Florence Price’s gorgeous Adoration (originally for solo organ) speaks to a Godly devotion, while Schumann’s Piano Quintet, was inspired by the love of his celebrated pianist wife, Clara.
