The performers are winners of the 2023 International Art Song Competition.

This program aims to dispel the illusion of our distance to the past and instead offers an exploration of the cyclical nature of the human experience. Through juxtapositions of works by Schubert, Clarke, Larsen, Heggie, L. Adams, Poulenc, and Crumb, the program explores the desire to find answers in the darkness and meaning in the time we are given.
