Steinway Artist Kelly Green is one of New York City’s most exciting new jazz artists, “well worth discovering” (NYC Jazz Record)! A true triple threat—pianist, vocalist, and composer—Green brings a unique, genre-bending approach to her music, captivating audiences of jazz aficionados and casual listeners around the U.S. and the world as a 2025 Jazz Road Artist.

Her recordings have earned critical acclaim, with Seems described as “an album of incredible class” (Thierry De Clemensat). Christian McBride calls her “one of the most talented and spirited people I know,” and All About Jazz lauds her as “an artist and performer in toto.”

She has shared the stage with musical visionaries such as Christian McBride, George Coleman, and Billy Hart, and has appeared at venues and festivals including The Kennedy Center, Dizzy’s Club, Birdland Theater, Blue Note, DC Jazz Festival, and Montclair Jazz Festival.

Known for her self-accompaniment, she performs intricate, lyric-driven arrangements of jazz standards and auspicious “outside-the-box” original compositions. With her internationally touring band, she curates eclectic sets that bridge eras and genres—featuring original music and arrangements of works by Mulgrew Miller, Duke Ellington, Eric Dolphy, and selections from the Blossom Dearie songbook.

Green has released four albums to date: Life Rearranged (2017), Kelly Green Trio: Volume One (2018), Endings That Are Beginnings (2022), and Seems (2024). Her fifth album, Corner of My Dreams, is set for release in August 2025.

Her recordings have earned critical acclaim, with Seems described as “an album of incredible class” (Thierry De Clemensat). Christian McBride calls her “one of the most talented and spirited people I know,” and All About Jazz lauds her as “an artist and performer in toto.”

Through her exceptional musicianship and storytelling, Kelly Green makes every performance a unique once-in-a-lifetime experience, leaving each audience member feeling as though they experienced a personal concert, just for them.
