DESCRIPTION:As part of our Organ Dedication\, Saint Peter’s invites you to our Dedicatory Recital\, featuring Lászlo Fassang\, Professor of Improvisation at Paris Conservatory. This is free event\, open to all. \nThis recital will showcase and demonstrate the stylistic possibilities of C.B. Fisk’s rebuilding of the 1977 Klais organ. Literature will include a diversity of works from Johann Sebastian Bach to György Ligeti\, the subject of Professor Fassang’s dissertation. The program will conclude with an improvisation on a theme presented to him at the time of the performance.
