“Mannes Goes All-Steinway” Piano Celebration, at the New School Tishman Auditorium (Site)

The Mannes School of Music at The New School’s College of Performing Arts is pleased to announce that it has been named an All-Steinway School in recognition of Mannes’s investment in the finest instruments for its piano students and ensembles.
The Mannes School of Music invites music enthusiasts, supporters of the arts, and aspiring musicians to celebrate the Steinway designation performances during its upcoming season, including the Mannes Sounds Festival. The festival’s opening event, Piano Celebration Gala: Mannes Goes All-Steinway, will be on September 20 at 7:30pm at The New School’s John L. Tishman Auditorium, featuring music for piano ensembles by Bernstein, Grant Still, Copland, Piazzolla, Rachmaninoff, Debussy, Poulenc, Lavignac, Yoon, Smetana, Hailstork, Bolcom, Tower, Liebermann, Ravel, A Bu/Carlos Pascual Cippeletti.
