DESCRIPTION:New School Tishman Auditorium \nTwo World Premieres open the 2023/2024 season of the Mannes Orchestra: Arjan Singh Dogra’s Live Salmon and JL Marlor’s Saltwater Lung. Arjan is a student in the Mannes Masters in Composition  program\, while JL is a recent graduate. \nThis groundbreaking season opener includes Pulitzer Prize and Grammy® Award composer Kevin Puts’ Marimba Concerto\, featuring percussion soloist and Mannes Student\, Katherine Fortunato. The program is bookended by Brahms Symphony No. 3 in F.
