Come hear a lively program of songs and chamber music by living women composers, performed by seasoned artists Sara Paar, soprano, Lynn Bechtold, violin, and Marcia Eckert, piano. The music, including three premieres, is inspired by contemporary life, as well as the more distant past, going as far back as the thoughts of a Mesopotamian priestess. Humor, frustration, pathos, and playfulness all can be heard in this imaginative and varied concert. Reception to follow.
